Matthew is giving a solo lunchtime recital in the stunning setting of the Younger Hall of St Andrews University . Matthew will perform Lute music from the Scottish Renaissance , Suite BWV 1007 by J.S.Bach , pieces by Neil Gow , Maxwell Davies and Leo Brouwer .
The concert is open to all staff, students and public.
Admission is free for Music Centre members, £2 for non-members.

This Months meeting is very special, DK guitars and Colin Morison will be be giving us an informed presentation on the qualities of fine and handcrafted guitars and some instruments will be demonstrated to illustrate some of the various characteristics between instrument models, construction and makers. Whether you are an expert or begginer, if you love classical guitar this will enhance your enjoyment and knowledge and is not to be missed.
All are welcome, Members, guests & visitors £3.00 concessions free
Members "society" nights....Members are encouraged to perform (but only if they wish) solo or ensemble pieces, as well as participate in a guitar orchestra, so please bring along a guitar, footstool and music stand. Visitors and non players are welcome to just come along to listen and enjoy the music and company of fellow music lovers and guitar players if they prefer.
Invited performers and knowledgeable speakers may also feature at some meetings.
The meeting will be held at Queens Cross Church, Aberdeen.

The Church is located in the west end of the city at the junction of Queens Rd, Carden place and Albyn terrace. thereis a small car park and parking is generally not a problem on the surrounding roads especially in the evening.
